Argentine. He has a Degree in Political Economy. He has actively participated as a professional in various projects and programs of regional, productive and housing development, both in managerial positions and also as coordinator and consultant. His work on different arid and semiarid regions of our country can be highlighted, especially, in Patagonia, as well as in several provinces, such as San Luis, Corrientes, Formosa, La Rioja, Misiones, La Pampa and Buenos Aires, among others.

Osvaldo Schvartzer has held administrative and teaching positions in the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Buenos Aires University, has been vice-dean of the Faculty of Engineering from the same University and he has given many courses in various public and private sectors.

He has also been an advisor to several international financial entities, such as the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and other institutions promoting economic and social development, such as the United Nations Development Program. Besides he has held several offices as public servant at national and provincial spheres.

It can be highlighted his professional role, between 1985 and 1986, in the executive direction of a u$s 300 million loan granted to Argentina by the World Bank, for house building, and another, of u$s 180 million, for urban development, granted by the Inter-American Development Bank.

Likewise, he coordinated and gave many seminars and workshops about the analysis of the Argentine economic situation, some of them financed by the UN Program for Development, at the same time he was coordinator of courses on municipal strengthening in different countries of the American continent, financed by the International Agency of Development (AID).

Among other activities, Osvaldo Schvartzer worked as General Coordinator in the project “Power stations franchise”, held in Córdoba province, that implicated a u$s 64 million investment, and also as Director and General Coordinator of the Program "Pioneros Siglo XXI", carried out in San Luis province.

At present, he works as Director of Schvartzer and Associates, he is the Argentine Representative of The Israeli Consulting and Technological Company Ltd. (ITC), and he is President of the Argentine Association of Friends of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (AAAUBG).
